Our Siobhan graduated from High School this past June and will be venturing off this fall to learn, grow and study at Salem State. In celebration of all that she has achieved as a person, a student, a singer and everything else she is in this world we had a graduation party with live music, a slip n slide, plenty of singing and lots of delicious food! It’s amazing and weird to think that 7 years ago we were at this same place celebrating Rory’s graduation from High School – crazy. Time really does fly by and makes you think about how much we grow, learn and change in just a few years. I feel like a completely different person from when I was in High School – much more confident, open, cultured and accepting of the highs and lows of life. But in other ways I feel exactly the same – just a stronger sense of self and more knowledgable. I’m happy for Siobhan, she has always had a strong sense of self and I know this journey will only bring good things for her – she is ready, open and aware – she’s young and has everything going for her – I know she will continue to trust herself and in turn she will always be happy… and I can’t help but have a smile on my face.
