Kua Bay

A place where 1000’s of whales migrate through every winter. It is truly entrancing to sit on the shore and watch the humpbacks breech just off the coastline. There is something majestic and awe-inspiring about it. Tyler and Julia had their hand at some boogie boarding but the waves proved to be a bit treacherous (seems to be the theme at the beach during this time of the year here). We all just sat there and watched the whales come up to play – smacking their giant whale tails against the bright blue seas and making a big splash. There is something truly spiritual and magical about this island way out in the Pacific. I can feel it’s power and I feel at peace with this place.. it’s allowing me to just be in the day and I couldn’t ask for more than that.
