There’s nothing better than spending some time with your very best friend… especially in the midst of a very crazy-busy season. Mr. Rory Magnus came for a special Cape visit back at the end of August. Blue skies and beautiful summer breeze set the stage for a very wondrous week together. Having him around was a breath of fresh air… creating positive energy that was like having a kale smoothie in the morning – both revitalizing and invigorating! His presence allowed me to take a step back, appreciate all that I have and to see my World clearer.. allowing me to just be.
We spent our time harvesting at the garden, swimming in the ocean, making sweet dinners and brunches, walking on the beach, visiting with family, camping with the girls, and playing music. We even went sailing one afternoon and Rory was stoked – his smile was uncontrollable! You could see in his eyes that he missed his dearest Atlantic ocean .. especially after living (for a little over a year now) in the forest city of Portland, OR. I know and understand that the ocean is a big part of him (as well as for myself) and I was happy that we were able to share that moment out on the rocky seas together….
There’s not much more to say except that it’s easy to have a great time with him – always motivated, inspired and up for an adventure. His energy rejuvenates me.. he is a very rare breed indeed – my dear, dear Mr. Renaissance Man.
