March of the Horribles…

What a celebration it was… many folks of all different shapes and sizes came out to Hyannis to celebrate the success of our local rising star (and my dear one), Ms. Siobhan Magnus! Lots of friendly and familiar faces filled the town green, although no one recognized me at first glance in my Bride get up it was a really fun time. Her Dad, Alan and his band PSYD FX entertained the crowd first and he was such a joy to watch! I can’t help but feel that he is meant to be up there – singing and playing keys. He always looks happiest and most himself when he is singing for other people.. there is an instant connection between him and the audience and it’s wonderful to see him so at peace up there.

Alan and Siobhan sang ‘House of the Rising Sun’ together before Siobhan and her band, Lunar Valve took the stage. It was great hearing two of the best singers I’ve ever heard sing together in front of such an audience.. it sent chills down my spine.. especially since they are like family to me. When she took the stage with her band hearing her voice was such a treat – it always is… she just has a way of making me weepy every time I hear her sing.. ever since she was a little kid… she truly has a gift and I am so happy for her that she has a way to share that gift with people in the community, throughout the country and around the World… I’m so proud of her. We love you Siobhan!! xo
